(1) Vendor needs to provide regulatory science tool for transcranial ultrasound modeling. – Provide develop a computational modeling package for simulating transcranial ultrasound (TUS) sonication protocols as a regulatory science tool (RST) that can be disseminated to device developers, researchers, and regulators.– Mitigate uncertainties arising from modeling variabilities and enable cross–comparisons across different protocols.– Promote the use of consensus acoustic and thermal tissue properties across the research and development community.– Streamline clinical trial design and promote consistent review of pre–market submissions.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
