Lead-free Brass Fittings

The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than 'Proposal Submission Date at 'Proposal Submission Time (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish/provide lead-free brass fittings to the City’s Waterworks Department as may be required for stock supplies and on an 'as needed' basis. All lead-free brass fittings listed shall be manufactured as identified in the Scope of Work section of this IFB. The product list on the Bid/Pricing Table is intended to be all-inclusive. However the City reserves the right to add additional lead- free brass fittings within the scope of this IFB to the Contract, as may be required to accommodate unanticipated regional/municipal changes, regulatory requirements and/or industry standards. Lead-free brass fittings that may be added to the Contract after the initial award shall be agreed upon in writing, by mutual agreement between the parties.
