LEGAL-18562 - USA (Old Bridge, New Jersey) - Township Attorney Services - Deadline December 3,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide township attorney services to the government authority located in Old Bridge, NJ.– Township Attorney shall serve as director of law. – Responsibilities shall include assisting township staff and perform duties as outlined in the township’s ordinance for director of law. – Provide legal counsel for employee, human resource and labor issues that may occur, including contract negotiations, disciplinary procedures.– Representation of township on tax appeals before the county board of taxation.– Representation of the Township in the sale or purchase of real estate.– Assist in the preparation of ordinances and resolutions; review all resolutions and ordinances prior to council meetings.– Refinancing of mortgages on affordable units and providing counsel to and working with the township’s municipal housing liaison and administrative agent.– Provide counsel on land use matters, including development and adoption of master plan or land development ordinances, redevelopment, condemnation.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
