Main Building/Roofing Contractor for Aokautere School Roof Replacement & Remediation to Various Blocks

The Contract Works required are: The proposal is to undertake roofing replacement and remediation works across various blocks at Aokautere School. Works include the removal and replacement of existing metal roofing, flashings, underlay, translucent roofing and spouting, along with associated roof penetration and weather-tightness repairs. Additional works include skylight removal and reinstatement, replacement of defective timber purlins where required, relocation of heat pump units, disposal of existing roof mounted solar panels and associated making good. BEA review is required, and the Ministry of Education Construction Observation Team will monitor the works to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards. All work to comply with manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations. All tender documentation and necessary information attached. Contractors MUST visit site for tender to be compliant. Contact the noted representative in Invite Letter to arrange a site visit. Ideally dependent on MoE funding approval this work would start as soon as possible after confirmation provided, however this will be discussed with the successful contractor and school once funding approvals are confirmed.
