(1) Vendor needs to provide city attorney service to the government authority located in North Branch, MN. – Provide general civil attorney legal services on a consulting or contractual basis.– General municipal laws.– General state and federal laws relating to municipal government.– Zoning, housing, subdivision and land use law.– Economic development activities including development, redevelopment, enforcement, and property or real estate law.– Ordinance and resolution development and interpretation.– Government data practices.– City ordinance issues.– Contract law.– Environmental law.– Municipal leases.– Eminent domain.– Trial activity.– Employment law, including collective bargaining.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
