Vendor needs to provide insurance broker services to the government authority located in West Orange, NJ.• Provide at a minimum one dedicated account manager, and one backup account manager, who will be available Monday through Friday during normal business hours.• The account manager will be responsible for all inquiries and issues, including claim appeals and benefit discrepancies. Account managers and support staff must have direct contacts with the insurance carriers, to “cut through the red tape” and have issues resolved in a timely manner.• Account management team to provide the high level of support to the township’s administrative officials and employees by assisting with the administration of union negotiation/communications regarding any and all health insurance benefits, all aspects of benefits program administration, billing support or onsite employee inquiries and meetings, online access to all state insurance carriers to complete all additions, terminations, status and other changes when necessary.• Monitor and report to our clients all federal and state legislative changes and potential changes that may affect public employers.• Administer an effective business plan for annual benefit renewals to provide renewal proposals 60 to 90 days in advance of the renewal date, analyze claims experience, plan structure, rate increases, and all other pertinent information to effectively market the program to the appropriate competing carriers in order to provide the best network, plan administration, and premium rate.
