The USDA Forest Service intends to negotiate on a sole–source basis with DeDietrich USA, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106–1(b). DeDietrich is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the SA–1500 glass–lined reactor and possesses the proprietary dimensions and reglassing parameters necessary to restore asset ID AG0001751188 to safe operating tolerances. This is a notice of intent, not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may submit a capability statement within 5 days of this notice, which will be considered by the agency.
