(1) Vendor needs to provide facility–based crisis clinical advisor services to the government authority located in Morganton, NC.– The advisor will provide practical guidance based on direct experience establishing and operating Facility–Based Crisis Centres to help ensure the completed facility supports safe, efficient, and effective behavioural health crisis services.• Reviewing architectural programming and space planning documents. • Reviewing schematic design, design development, and construction documents. • Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, patient safety, and staff workflow. • Providing recommendations regarding behavioural health best practices and operational functionality. • Reviewing proposed layouts for patient intake, observation areas, nursing and clinical workspaces, medication rooms, group spaces, dining areas, outdoor spaces, and other functional areas. • Providing recommendations regarding trauma–informed, recovery–oriented, and ligature–resistant design principles. • Identifying potential operational challenges prior to construction.
