(1) Vendor needs to provide stock envelopes supplies to the government authority located in Sacramento, CA.• provide inventory stock envelopes for use across agency business operations, including high–volume automated insertion equipment.• Envelope Style– Envelope specifications must be met as outlined for each individual stock code identified in the bid schedule.– Envelopes shall be regular flap style only.Straight flap envelopes are not acceptable.– Envelope design shall be compatible with agency inserter equipment and shall not cause jamming, feeding issues, or opening problems under normal operating conditions.– Envelope Material and Appearance– Envelopes shall be manufactured from consistent, durable stock suitable for automated feeding and insertion.– Envelope stock shall be flat, uniform, and free from warping, curling, rippling, or other deformation that may affect machine performance.– Gray urgent envelopes, if furnished, shall be manufactured using gray paper stock. – Surface–sprayed, coated, or post–production–colored envelopes are not acceptable unless specifically approved in writing by agency.– Envelopes shall have a clean, professional finish and consistent appearance throughout each production run.– Adhesive / Glue Quality– Adhesives used in the envelope manufacturing process shall be applied uniformly and shall not interfere with envelope opening or machine processing.– Envelopes shall be free from excess glue, glue buildup, sealed spots, or adhesive transfer that causes envelopes to stick together, remain partially sealed, or fail to open properly.– Adhesive defects that result in jamming, opening failures, or unusable envelopes shall be grounds for rejection.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
