2023 Waste Management Services: Independence Day Festival

The City of Pittsburgh seeks a qualified waste management contractor to partner with the City's official Independence Day Celebration at Point State Park, North Shore Riverfront Park, and Liberty Ave. Festival hours are planned for 4:00pm to 10:00pm on July 4, 2023. The City of Pittsburgh endeavors to make all events as environmentally friendly as possible and needs a motivated, qualified partner for an event of this size. The selected respondent will be responsible for all aspects of waste management before, during, and after the festival, including but not limited to: proposing a successful waste management plan; providing waste, recycling, and composting containers throughout the venue; providing staff to manage and pull receptacles during the event; and sorting waste post-event.
