TREE TRIMMING AND REMOVAL SERVICE FOR CITY DEPARTMENTS

Description
The City of Torrington accepting sealed bids to retain a licensed & insured contractor(s) for tree trimming and removal services at streets & parks throughout the city. The Contractor will respond to specific requests for tree work from the Department and must receive authorization for additional work that may come to the Contractor’s attention that was not requested by the City. Throughout the term of the contract, it may become necessary for the Contractor to assist the Department in providing emergency tree service Deadline: 11/14/2026, 11:00 AM Questions: 11/9/2026, 4:00 PM No faxed/e-mailed proposals accepted No bids withdrawn for 60 days The City of Torrington reserves the right to award or reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities and to award the bid other than the lowest bid that in the city's judgement will best serve the public interest AN AFFIRMATIVE ACTION/EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER MBEs WBEs AND SBEs ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY
