MULTIPLE SYSTEM ATROPHIES (MSA) MILLENNIUM GAS MASK - PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT (PPE)

The purpose of this Request for Quotation is to define the County’s minimum requirements for the purchase of Multiple System Atrophies (MSA) Millennium Gas Mask - Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) or like item, and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) filters for the masks by which the County may evaluate products offered by Contractors or Vendors. As used herein, the term Contractor or Vendor shall mean the Contractor, its employees, or agents. Provide 18 MSA Millennium Gas Masks, or like item, with the following features: Provides respiratory protection against military welfare, civil unrest and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) threats, Attracts, regains and neutralizes contaminants, Flexible, one-piece polyurethane lens with a wider field of vision, Lens is bonded to a high-carbon rubber facepiece, Easy weapon sighting from either shoulder, Drinking tube permits fluid intake in a contaminated environment, High-performance, custom fit comfort, Easy on/off and adjustment, Canisters fit on either side, NIOSH Approved, CBRN Certified 18 Gas Mask shall be in the following sizes: 3 Small, 10 Medium, and 5 Large Provide 18 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) filters shall meet or exceed the following: 40mm Gas Filter Meets NIOSH TC-14G-0270 approval, Specifically designed for biological, chemical, radiological and nuclear agents (CBRN), Particulate filter is over 99.99% efficient against all particulates and is appropriate for protection against all biological aerosols, Exceptionally high particle-filtration capacity and low breathing-resistance, and Standard 40mm NATO threaded.
