(1) Vendor needs to provide speech therapy services to the government authority located in New York.– Determine, through testing and appraisal, the needs and rehabilitation potential of individuals with speech, voice/language, and/or swallowing difficulties.– Enhance maximum function, promote independence and prevent disability or regression through direct corrective therapy, and treatments.– Develop a rehabilitation program to modify, restore or improve speech/language/swallowing problems while directing the treatment and remedial activities.– Counsel, advise and instruct clients and families.– Evaluate to ascertain the progress and effectiveness of treatment through the identification of goals and objectives.– Coordinate and consult with staff and authorized practitioners regarding the speech therapy program, orders, problems and client care needs.(2) The contract period will be for three years.
