Public Health Lab Billing System

The County of Solano, Health and Social Services, hereinafter referred to as the County, is soliciting informational responses for a Public Health Lab Billing System. The County Health and Social Services (H&SS) Public Health Division is seeking information from qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive Laboratory Billing Solution. This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to identify vendors with the capability to deliver a modern system that can streamline and improve the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of the Public Health Division's laboratory billing processes. The primary purpose of this RFI is to gather insights into available solutions that can meet the Division’s needs, which include managing and automating billing for laboratory services, integration with Orchard Harvest Lab Information Management System, ensuring compliance with regulatory and payer requirements, and improving the overall workflow related to billing operations. The information gathered through this RFI will assist the County in determining the best path forward in acquiring and implementing an optimal solution that aligns with the Division's operational and financial goals. Vendors are invited to provide detailed responses regarding their experience, solution features, implementation approach, support structure, and potential cost estimates to aid the County in defining its next steps. This RFI is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or guarantee of future procurement. Using information gathered from responses to this RFI, the County of Solano may issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to bidders interested in providing services to the County. Nothing in this document shall be construed as obligating the County to issue an RFP. The County reserves the right to award a contract based on this RFI.
