(1) Vendor needs to provide surplus auction services to the government authority located in Manhasset, NY. – Provide surplus auction services to handle the auction of surplus vehicles, equipment, furniture and other assets owned by the agency. • Handle all aspects of the auction, including:– Visit agency facilities to evaluate the surplus assets and retrieve items within 10 days of request.– Advise the agency on strategy for maximizing the offers on the assets.– Handle all advertising and outreach efforts.– Maintain a fully functional internet auction website accessible to any interested bidder and capable of all necessary display, tabulation and record keeping functions.– Inform all potential bidders of the agency’s terms and conditions including the following: all items are sold subject to seller approval after bids close.– Take pictures of the items and draft detailed descriptions– In the case of cell phones, tablets, smart phones, gaming devices, computers, laptops, cameras, ipods, gps systems, or other electronic devices that retain data, erase all data to meet or exceed all major national and international regulatory and technical standards.– List assets on auction website, including photos, descriptions, conditions, etc.– Provide customer support including, responding to all inquiries from bidders, coordinate receipt of information from agency employees, where necessary.– Ship items or coordinate pickup at no additional cost to the agency.– Collect funds from winning bidder and send a check to the agency for the net amount of the auction on a monthly basis.– Provide reports of assets sold with check and as requested by agency.– Relist items as necessary, there shall be no additional charges for unsold items or uncollected payments.(2) The contract period will be for two years.
