Vendor needs to provide general and coverage counsel services to the government authority located in Sacramento, CA. – Review, analyze and interpret agency’s governing documents.  – Provide coverage analysis when requested by staff, interpreting the liability, workers’ compensation, property, and auto physical damage Memoranda of Coverage (MOCs) with respect to duties owed to members on claims/lawsuits submitted. – Attend board and executive committee meetings when requested.– Provide legal opinions to staff and the agency.– Assist staff in selecting out–source counsel on special circumstance legal matters.– Review excess coverage documents and procedures when requested.– Review and suggest revisions for service provider contracts when requested.
