(1) Vendor needs to provide transportation barrier study services to the government authority located in Charlotte, NC.– Providing similar services, public transportation planning, as well as corridor and systems planning.– Geriatric and Physical Health Literacy: Awareness of the high rates of chronic illness, cognitive impairment, and mobility barriers specific to older adults, which severely compound the logistical challenges of being unhoused.– Transportation Planning and Paratransit Policy: Familiarity with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) paratransit regulations, fixed–route public transit frameworks, and specialized “door–through–door“ assisted transportation systems designed for older adults.– Develop recommendations for short and long–term strategies to improve transportation options for unhoused older adults.– Evaluate how cashless models impact unhoused seniors who rely entirely on cash or lack of bank accounts.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than November 13,2026.
