RICHARDSON FAMILY MITIGATION — Missoula County

The purpose of the Richardson Family Mitigation project is to offset unavoidable impacts of highway improvement projects in Aquatic Watershed #3 Lower Clark Fork River Basin by creating high-quality stream, riparian, emergent wetland, and upland habitat. The project has two main components: 1) Establishment of two emergent wetlands in what is currently a hayfield in the southeast part of the property. 2) Restoration of Sixmile Creek. The project is located in Missoula County roughly 4.5 miles west of Frenchtown along Sixmile Creek north of the I-90 corridor and west of Sixmile Road.
