  "summary": "<p><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">The City of Orlando (City) requests Proposals from interested and qualified Proposers to provide turn-key Bowl Sound System Upgrade to the City for Kia Center located at 400 West Church Street, Orlando, Florida 32801.</span></p><ol style=\"list-style-type: upper-alpha;\"><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\"><u>Introduction</u> - The Request for Proposal represents the minimum requirements to furnish a complete turn-key package as described in this RFP. The City has contracted with consultant Anthony James Partners (AJP) to provide input on this project including&nbsp; but not limited the scope of work, technical requirements, specifications, conceptual drawings, and bowl sound system market information. &nbsp;</span><ol><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">The Contractor will provide the Work described in the RFP Documents on a 'turnkey basis.&rsquo;&nbsp; Work contemplated by this RFP includes, unless otherwise indicated, manufacturing, supply, delivery, installation, labor, related services (including design) and testing of all equipment and materials necessary to install and operate the Kia Center upgrades as described in the RFP Documents, and more particularly in the performance specifications included in the RFP Documents.</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">Proposers responding to this RFP must provide pricing for a complete turn-key installation, including pricing for the provision and installation of all items necessary to provide finished and fully operational systems.&nbsp; Materials, equipment, and related services required for the provision and installation of such a system, not expressly addressed in this RFP, are understood to be the responsibility of the Proposer.</span></li></ol></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\"><u>General Description</u> - The Contractor shall provide a complete, workable, and operational system including all labor, equipment, tools, material, engineering, supervision, licenses, insurance, and permits to engineer, manufacture, and install a fully integrated and operational Sound Reinforcement System within the main seating bowl of the arena highlighted by the following:</span><ol><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">Arena Bowl Seating and Event Space Sound Reinforcement System</span><ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;\"><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">Main Bowl Line Array Loudspeaker Systems</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">Main Bowl Delay Ring / Fill Loudspeaker System</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">Event Floor Fill Loudspeaker System</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">Portable Event Floor Sound System</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">Front of House Console</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">Wireless Microphone System Upgrades</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">Wireless IEM System Upgrades</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">Dedicated Sound Network Upgrades</span></li></ol></li></ol></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\"><u>Definitions</u></span><ol style=\"list-style-type: upper-alpha;\"><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">&ldquo;Proposer&rdquo; shall mean each Vendor submitting a proposal in response to this RFP.</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">&ldquo;Contractor&rdquo; shall mean the Vendor that has been selected to provide products or services or both to the City.</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">\"Consultant\" or \"AJP\" shall mean Anthony James Partners.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">&ldquo;City&rdquo; or \"Owner\" shall mean City of Orlando.</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">&ldquo;Code Authority having Jurisdiction&rdquo; shall mean the office or Agency responsible for assuring the work&rsquo;s compliance with the State Building Code.</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">&ldquo;Contract&rdquo; shall mean any written contract entered between the City and Contractor following the award of a contract with respect to this project.</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">&ldquo;Substantial Completion&rdquo; &ndash; shall be defined as all work under the Contract has been substantially completed in accordance with the terms of the Contract and all systems are fully operational and ready for the intended use. &nbsp;Systems shall be installed, all rack equipment installed, all cabling completed, system has been commissioned and tested in accordance with applicable requirements of the Technical Specifications and the Contract. &nbsp;The project is ready for final punch list by the City and/or the City's designated representative.</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">&ldquo;Guaranteed Completion&rdquo; &ndash; shall be defined as all punch list items have been completed, Closeout Documentation has been turned over, and all work under the Contract is ready for final acceptance by The City once three (3) consecutive problem free events have been completed as defined by Section 5.9.</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">&ldquo;RFP Documents&rdquo; &ndash; refers to the request for proposals issued by the City and more specifically consisting of the RFP titled \"Kia Center Bowl Sound System Upgrade\" dated&nbsp;February 25, 2025 and any attachments, and addenda issued in writing following issuance of this RFP.</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">&ldquo;Vendor&rdquo; &ndash; refers to each entity receiving this RFP and from whom a proposal is being solicited.</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">&ldquo;Contract Sum&rdquo; refers to the compensation, including all other fees, costs, expenses, taxes and other amounts to be paid to the Contract for the Work.</span></li></ol></li></ol>",
