(1) Vendor needs to provide energy resilience construction grants services to the government authority located in New Britain, CT.– Help prevent outages and enhance the resilience of the electric grid.– Mitigate the impact of events in which operations of the electric grid are disrupted, preventively shut off, or cannot operate safely due to extreme weather, wildfire, or a natural disaster, including:• Weatherization technologies and equipment• Fire–resistant technologies and fire prevention systems• Monitoring and control technologies• The undergrounding of electrical equipment• Utility pole management• The relocation of power lines or the reconductoring of power lines with low–sag, advanced conductors• Fuel–load management• The use or construction of distributed energy resources for enhancing system adaptive capacity during disruptive events, including microgrids and energy storage subcomponents• Adaptive protection technologies• Advanced modeling technologies• Hardening of power lines, facilities, substations, of other systems• The replacement of old overhead conductors and underground cables– Improve system reliability and resilience in a range of weather and storm conditions and improve overall grid flexibility while maximizing community benefits by providing quantifiable and tangible benefits relating to reducing the likelihood and duration of occurrences of disruptive events.– Provide the measurable benefits listed here to residents of the State, including vulnerable communities.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than September 15, 2026.(3) A pre–bid meeting will be held on September 3, 2026.
