Yorktown Avenue Drainage Improvements Phase I Project

Description
This project consists of providing improvements to the existing Yorktown Avenue, Lumkin Avenue, Lynhaven Avenue and Concord Avenue right-of-ways. The project site is located generally southeast of Jefferson Davis Highway and Bellemeade Road. The work is being performed to improve the overall function of the subdivision drainage system, including but not limited to minimizing routine flooding and providing water quality functions to the system. Work to be performed includes extension of the existing drainage system in Lynhaven Avenue, installation of approximately 1200 lane feet of permeable paving block system, installation of new culvert pipes, adjusting rims of existing sewer and water service connections, and landscaping and restoration of all disturbed areas.
