(1) Vendor needs to provide newborn screening laboratory information management system.– The LIMS is the key software that integrates with laboratory instruments, tracks testing, links patient demographics, provides reporting and tracks patients to diagnosis.– Integrated case management workflow: automated creation of a case for every abnormal screen, allowing for the tracking of phone calls, letters, and specialist referrals in one place.– Universal device networking: system must support secure networking for all benchtop instruments, eliminating the use of portable storage (USB).– System must track, manage, and report on test requests/specimens forwarded to external reference laboratories.– Mobile–first design: the portal must be fully responsive and functional on tablets and smartphones for “on–the–go“ clinicians.(2) All question must be submitted no later than October 9, 2026.
