Rebuild 30-Inch M&H Check Valve – Tar River Water Supply Reservoir Dam

At a minimum, the selected Fabricator shall perform the following: ● Provide or fabricate and machine a new valve shaft ● Provide or fabricate and machine (2) new bronze body bushings ● Machine and sleeve the valve body lid ● Provide or fabricate and machine a new body seat ring ● Extract old bolts from the swing seat ● Machine swing seat flat and drill new bolt holes ● Provide or fabricate and machine a new swing seat ● Provide or fabricate and machine new gland bushings ● Fabricate and provide new keys ● Machine and remove old set screws in the armature ● Reassemble and coat the rebuilt valve ● Deliver the rebuilt valve to the Tar River Reservoir Water Treatment Plant, 4489 Leaston Rd., Rocky Mount, NC 27803 (City staff will offload using a City forklift)
