Keys and Key FOB Production, Reprogramming, and Rekeying

City of Tucson seeks vendor capable of providing vehicle keys, key fobs and key programming, to add to existing OEM keys or replacement key purchases. This Contract is intended to outline the specifications and requirements for a contract to solicit vendors capable of providing services related to Vehicle Keys and Key-Fob Production, Programming, and Rekeying for the City of Tucson's Fleet Division, a division of the Environmental and General Services Department(EGSD). The purpose of this contract is to ensure efficient and reliable management of vehicle keys and key fobs across the City's Fleet. For consideration, Vendor must be aware and capable of providing the following General Criteria: For new keys, replacement keys, key programming and re-keying of vehicles. Contracted vendors must have capability to cut new keys (single side, double sided and laser cut) for all City of Tucson vehicles and equipment. Have a sufficient inventory of key blanks and remove entry fobs. Have the capability to program and reprogram new and existing key fobs. Vendors will need to rekey ignition, doors, and trunk lock cylinders for vehicles going to surplus, and rekey certain vehicles for one-key-fits-all in refuge fleet.
