Description
Fayetteville Technical Community College is looking for a Professional Architectural Engineering service for a new facility. Scope of work includes planning, design, and construction administration services for a new 2 to 3 story building which will be located on main campus near the Hull Road entrance. The building must feature a modern design while maintaining a visual continuity with the surrounding campus area. The building will be approximately 65,000 GSF and will feature a 500+ seat auditorium, complete with a ticket office, concession area and kitchen and food prep/handling area. The building will include state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratory spaces, collaboration zones, faculty and support offices, restrooms, and conference/seminar rooms. Infrastructure upgrades include a new parking lot with dedicated ADA spaces, advanced stormwater management systems, and a strategic access road connecting the Building Trades Center to the new venue. Constructed with cutting-edge materials and technologies, this high-performance building ensures a sustainable life cycle that significantly reduces future maintenance costs and capital renewal requirements. This project falls under FTCC’s Special Construction Delegation; therefore, the State Construction Office will not be involved.
