Selective Traffic Signal Light Upgrades - Remote Access

City of Lacombe

Description

The City of Lacombe invites Proponents to submit a proposal for the supply, installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and documentation of a remote access system for the City’s traffic signal network along Highway 12 (50 Avenue) and along Highway 2A. The project is intended to provide the City with reliable remote access to key traffic signal controllers and the ability to respond quickly to adjust traffic coordination patterns for significant traffic diversions, including Highway 2 closures that may route additional traffic through Lacombe on Highway 12 (50 Avenue) and along Highway 2A. The system should also support remote diagnostics and operational monitoring where physical attendance at the traffic signal cabinet is not required.
