RFP: Bow Valley Community Fireguard CNC-East Landing-Pile Disposal

Description
SUMMARY: The Town of Canmore is requesting proposals from qualified proponents to complete burning of 109 piles or 87 for chip & removal and 22 piles which require burning of harvested landing-pile debris. Piles may be burned from November 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027 under acceptable burning conditions if burning is used. Piles may be chipped starting October 12th, 2026. Earlier access may be provided for chip and removal operations. If biding on both project specifications, please send as separate bids and clearly indicate which project specifications you are bidding on. A MANDATORY SITE VIEWING WILL BE HELD June 25th, 2026, 09:00-12:00 HRS STARTING AT THE CANMORE NORDIC CENTRE LOWER PARKING LOT - ATV’s are required. Proponents should RSVP (Section 1.1.3) by June 23rd, 2026. The Town of Canmore may provide the successful proponent with the opportunity for a contract extension(s) for future fireguard landing-pile debris burning or chip & removal based on performance and if the proponent is agreeable to the same or similar fixed price per pile.
