(1) Vendor needs to provide field investigation, post–closure land use plan, site remediation and maintenance plan development services to the government authority located in El Segundo, CA.– Determine the horizontal extent of waste or disposal–related fill. – Determine the vertical extent and thickness of waste. – Identify the depth and elevation of the top and bottom of waste. – Determine the thickness, composition, variability, and condition of the landfill cover. – Identify native soil or the former quarry surface beneath the disposal materials. – Characterize environmental conditions within the cover, fill, waste, and underlying soils. – Evaluate the presence and potential migration of landfill gas. – The consultant shall review and use the available historical aerial photographs, topographic maps, and current site information to guide the field investigation.• Landfill–gas probe installation and monitoring program; • Surveying and mapping procedures; • Field–screening and documentation procedures; • Investigation–derived waste management; • Transects extending across the suspected disposal area; (2) A mandatory site walk will be held on October 15, 2026.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 22, 2026.
