COUNTYWIDE CARPET CLEANING SERVICES

The County of Solano, Department of General Services - Custodial Services, hereinafter referred to as the "County", is seeking proposals from a qualified proposer(s) to provide countywide commercial carpet cleaning services at various County facilities. The County seeks experienced contractors that utilize current technologies, sustainable practices, and efficient work methods to continuously improve service quality while maintaining or reducing costs. In addition to demonstrating expertise in carpet cleaning, contractors should employ modern cleaning systems capable of extending carpet life, improving indoor air quality, and enhancing overall facility appearance. The County encourages the use of equipment and processes that increase productivity, reduce operational downtime, and ensure consistent, high‑quality cleaning results across a variety of County facilities found herein. As part of its commitment to environmentally responsible procurement, the County seeks services that minimize adverse environmental impacts and support a healthy and safe workplace for County employees. Accordingly, preference will be given to carpet cleaning services that utilize environmentally preferable cleaning products and practices, including products and methods that reduce exposure to harmful chemicals and support sustainable facility operations.
