Shatterproof Window Film & Installation

Through this Invitation for Bid (IFB), the City of Milpitas (City) seeks to award a contract for the provision of shatterproof window film and installation in support of its Storefront Crime Prevention program to help mitigate smash and grab property crimes in the City. The City will pay up to $4,000 per business, with the target business being small businesses with 25 or fewer employees. For larger storefronts that may exceed this cap, the business will be responsible for paying the awarded vendor directly for any additional costs over the $4,000 allowance per business. This work will be subject to prevailing wage requirements as required by the California Department of Industrial Relations . Minimum Requirements: Current California Contractor's License D-52. Shatterproof Window Film that meets or exceeds the specifications set forth in the Scope of Work. Must be a licensed reseller for the proposed Shatterproof Window Film. The City expects a contract term of one to two years, depending on how long it takes to complete the projects.
