Description

Gilbert Public Schools ("District") is seeking the professional services of a qualified and experienced executive search firm to assist the Governing Board in conducting a comprehensive national search to identify and hire the next Superintendent of the District. The selected firm shall work collaboratively with the Governing Board and engage with key stakeholders to design and execute a transparent, inclusive, and effective search process. The goal is to attract a diverse and highly qualified pool of candidates and support the Governing Board in selecting a Superintendent whose leadership aligns with the District’s vision, mission, and strategic goals. The firm will be expected to provide expertise and guidance in all phases of the search, from initial planning through final selection and appointment. Gilbert Public Schools is committed to providing meaningful, innovative learning experiences for every student, fostering strong community engagement, cultivating innovative organizational practices, and nurturing a culture where everyone thrives. The ideal candidate will embody the District’s core values and demonstrate a track record of collaborative leadership, educational excellence, and a strong focus on student achievement and well-being. The selected executive search firm will play a critical role in identifying and attracting candidates who reflect these priorities and are well-equipped to lead Gilbert Public Schools into its next chapter of success. The anticipated retirement date of the current Superintendent is June 30, 2026, with the selection of the new Superintendent to occur early Spring of 2026. The selected firm will be expected to begin services immediately after approval and upon receipt of an authorized purchase order.
