TRANSLATION-8338 - USA (California) - Foreign Language Interpretation and Translation Services - Deadline September 11,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide foreign language interpretation and translation services. 1. In–person interpretation services:• Provide on–site interpretation services, either consecutive or simultaneous, for appointments, classes, intake procedures, public meetings or events where testimony is received, and other related programs or activities.• These services may be requested on an on–call basis and may occur both during and outside of normal business hours.2. Telephonic and video call remote interpretation services: provide expert telephonic and video call language interpretation services on an as–needed basis.• Telephonic remote interpretation services must be available 7 days a week, from 3:30 am to 12:30 a.m. be available to provide service 7 days a week from 3:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. (Pacific Local Time).• Provide interpretation services for all major non–English languages spoken in the Sacramento region including: Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Hmong, Russian and Ukrainian languages.• Provide training and training materials to agency staff on utilization of services.• Perform services exclusively via telephone or video call that include agency staff, contractor staff, and the agency caller via three–way conferencing.• Provide 2 day’s advance scheduling of appointments and will provide a web link for Contractor to joi the call.3. Interpretation services and document translations:• Convert written text from one language to another, ensuring that both the meaning and tone are conveyed accurately.• Materials to be translated may include forms, handwritten documents, websites, software, and multimedia content.• Provide translations of agendas and public meeting webpage content.• Deliver the translations in accessible electronic formats suitable for website posting.• Provide clear, accurate, and culturally appropriate translation that is understandable to the general public.(2) The contract period will be for five years.
