HVAC 550 Quarry

The Human Services Agency is required to maintain and repair the Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) unit in the Vocational Rehabilitation Center (VRC) located at550 Quarry Road in San Carlos. Contractor shall provide the following heating and air conditioning preventative maintenance services to keep the heating and cooling systems operating at the lowest possible cost and maximum efficiency. Should inspections reveal a repair is needed, the contractor will provide recommendations as to repairs in writing with estimated costs. The Contractor will inspect the County’s equipment located at the 550 Quarry Road, San Carlos location on a quarterly basis. 14-Rooftop units, 11 Exhaust fans. Filters furnished and installed by Contractor (Additional charge for filters). • Adjust tension on all belts, and replace if necessary (Additional charge for belts). • Inspect and adjust all temperature controls. • Visual check of refrigerant systems(s) for leaks and operation (Cost of refrigerant is not included in contract). • Inspect oil in condensate pumps and clean condensate drain pans and floor sinks. • Check operation of refrigerant controls. • Check evaporative condensers, clean dirt and lint from air-cooled condensers. • Inspect flue pipe and flue connections. • Inspect and clean pilot lights, igniters, etc.
