(1) Vendor needs to provide door sign supply and installation services.• Some buildings may have the door sign on the door. Removal of the previous door signs is required.• Apartment door signs should be installed on the same side as the door handle of that unit.• Stair, Trash room, & Laundry room signs should be removed and installed in its original location.• Permanent room and apartment–identification signs shall include compliant raised tactile characters and contracted Grade• Sign backgrounds and characters shall have a non–glare finish and strong light–on–dark or dark–on–light contrast• Tactile character baselines shall be located 48 inches minimum above finished floor for the lowest tactile character and 60 inches maximum above finished floor for the highest tactile character.
