Description
The Park West (PS-05) Pumping Station Rehabilitation project consists of the rehabilitation and construction of a wastewater pumping station, including demolition of existing components and installation of new structural, mechanical, and electrical systems. Work includes installation of a precast wetwell, valve vault, submersible pumps, diesel backup pump, piping, valves, and a magnetic flow meter. The project also includes construction of an electrical building, installation of electrical service, transfer switch, lighting, and SCADA system components. Additional work includes site improvements such as erosion and sediment control, earthwork, paving, fencing, and related appurtenances. The project requires coordination of multiple disciplines to provide a complete and operational pumping station. The contractor will be required to maintain operation of the existing system during construction, including the use of bypass pumping as necessary.
