(1) Vendor needs to provide freeway patrol services to the government authority located in Orange, CA.• The Freeway Service Patrol (FSP) helps reduce freeway congestion, improve safety and air quality, and reduce fuel consumption by quickly addressing incidents, disabled vehicles, and roadway debris that impede traffic flow.• Collisions, disabled vehicles, debris, and other incidents can significantly reduce freeway capacity and contribute to traffic congestion.• Promptly addressing these conditions helps restore roadway capacity, reduce delays,and minimize the potential for secondary incidents and driver distraction.• Maintaining freeway capacity depends on safely and efficiently addressing incidents and removing disabled vehicles and other obstructions from traffic lanes.• Basic FSP– services may include:• Jump–starting a battery.• Changing flat tires.• Providing one gallon of gasoline.• Providing water for a radiator.• Temporarily taping a leaking radiator hose; and• Conduct planned or random reviews of Contractor facilities and recordswhen authorized.• Evaluate program and Contractor performance.• Monitor the investigation and resolution of program–related complaints.• Collect, analyze, and report program data.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 7, 2026.
