EXTRA-76514 - USA (Maryland) - Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance Modernization Update Services - Deadline October 14,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide zoning and subdivision ordinance modernization update services to the government authority located in Maryland.– This update will involve engagement with County officials, community stakeholders and the public. – The Consultant shall review the current Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance, Comprehensive Plan, and supporting studies, to assist in developing a diagnosis of recommendations. – Identify and inventory areas of redundancy, gaps, conflicts, outdated provisions, and usability issues.– Collect County Planning and Zoning staff suggestions and implementation challenges.– Identify and inventory areas of incompatibility.– Conduct analysis to ensure that the new ordinance will be consistent with the goals and objectives of the Comprehensive Plan.– Public outreach strategy, including web/social media interaction, designed to inform community stakeholders and the general public on the benefits of the update.– Responsible for data collection and analysis that will be used to draft text, maps, charts, etc. – Data the awardee shall digitize new maps, input data, create new GIS layers, and incorporate selected maps from existing work products to produce GIS maps. – All GIS data must utilize topology, especially for area–based datasets. (2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 30, 2026. (3) Pre–bid meeting will be held on September 23, 2026.
