(1) Vendor needs to provide outside legal counsel service for information technology to the government authority located in Austin, TX. – provide specialized legal services regarding complex information technology (IT) matters. Matters may include advising on draft documents, negotiations, and compliance review of software licensing agreements.– Selected Outside Counsel will deliver targeted, efficient legal support on technology–related legal issues—such as intellectual property, data security, and artificial intelligence—as well as risk management strategies and specialized negotiation support to ensure best–value procurement.– Advise on complex information technology transactions– Advise on technology–related legal issues to include intellectual property rights, data privacy and security, artificial intelligence, and dispute resolution– Advise on compliance requirements, under State and federal law, for complex information technology solicitations and agreements– Provide prompt and effective legal counsel regarding potential risks and provide recommendations for risk management strategies for complex information technology transactions– Attend in–person meetings and/or virtual meetings, as requested(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 2, 2026.(3) Pre–bid meeting will be held on September 30, 2026.
