Description
The King County Library System ("KCLS" or "Owner") is seeking proposals bids from qualified Contractor/Vendors for the purpose of obtaining information and firm proposals bids for Project Title . KCLS is one of the top three largest circulating libraries in the United States. Located in the Puget Sound area, KCLS serves over one million residents at its 48 staffed libraries and a Service Center. Established in 1942, KCLS is a special purpose taxing district that is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees and operates under the constitution and laws of the State of Washington. The libraries and Service Center are places of work and gathering spots for the general public. Each location is unique in its layout and patron usage. Visiting the eight (8) locations, with twelve (12) elevators, is required. Schedule the visits by emailing Facility Maintenance Supervisors at FacilitiesLeadership@kcls.org . Library locations and detailed scope of work are presented in Attachment A.
