– Vendor needs to provide general inspector services to the government authority located in Las Cruces, NM. – Provide inspector general services as directed by the county or at sole discretion, services.– include audits, inspections, and investigations as deem appropriate to combat fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement.– Provide oversight and review of the county’s progress toward resolving findings and recommendations from the special audit that was completed in 2026.– Provide oversight of investigations conducted by the county, its departments, or outside contractors, to ensure timely and appropriate assignment, action, completion, and closure. – Audits, inspections, or investigations shall be designed to assist the department in achieving its strategic, operational, financial, and objectives.– Services should also include assistance in developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating standard operating procedures and county policy.
