RFP 24-151-9999 Juvenile Institutional Health Services

The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to establish a contract with a vendor to provide Health Care Services for the residents housed at the Tidewater Detention Home. The primary objective of such contract is to provide high quality, and cost-effective health care services to include, (without limitation) the following: (1) establish and provide on-site medical Services to meet the immediate needs of the residents housed at the Tidewater Detention Home (e.g., initial physical assessments, ongoing evaluation and treatment of minor medical conditions, stabilization of urgent and emergency medical conditions), and (2) to establish a working relationship with Chesapeake Juvenile Services’ existing medical partnerships in conjunction with agency leadership as appropriate. The medically necessary services shall be provided in accordance with the standards established by the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice (“DJJ”), the Office of Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention (“OJJDP”), and Chesapeake Juvenile Services.
