(1) Vendor needs to provide on–premise server backup and recovery software.– The solution must collect mainframe data, identify mainframe configuration items, and interface with and populate ServiceNow’s Configuration Management Database (CMDB) with the discovered mainframe hardware and configuration data through a seamless integration.1. Support for image based full, differential, and incremental backups.2. Support for file level, block level, VM level, and application aware backups.3. Support for granular restore (files, folders, application objects).4. Ability to perform bare metal recovery for Windows systems.5. Support for scheduled, on demand, and policy–based backup jobs.6. Support for de duplication and compression across backup jobs.7. Ability to create retention policies (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly– Vendor must provide 24/7 support options.1. Access to updates, patches, and security fixes.2. Documentation for installation, upgrade, and operations.3. On–prem training or runbooks for administrators (optional).
