Description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION .1 Working towards the outcomes and objectives identified within the Project Plan, the successful Proponent is to apply proven parks-based (non-urban) technical design practices in conjunction with appropriate tools and skilled resources through the Assessment, Conceptual Design, Detailed Design, Approval Process, Issued for Tender and Issued for Construction and Project Close Out phases for the site to achieve the end result desired by the Province. .2 The work to be accomplished under this project includes: .1 Construction of single span bridge crossing at Site 1 to accommodate 4x4 vehicle use. .2 Decommissioning of existing informal river crossing and access routes .3 Information kiosk replacement .4 Vault toilet installation at Site 1 .5 Installation of Fire rings and formalizing existing rustic camp sites .6 Upgrade signage using Alberta Parks standard sign catalogue as needed. ANTICIPATED PROJECT SCHEDULE .1 The project schedule calls for commencement of Contract by September 01, 2026 and completion of Services by September 28, 2028.
