(1) Vendor needs to provide community development director services.• The community development director provides strategic leadership for the city's planning, development, redevelopment, and growth management initiatives while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. • Serving as a trusted advisor to the mayor, city council, and city manager, the director guides implementation of the city's comprehensive plan and oversees administration of the perry land management ordinance and future land use map to support responsible, sustainable growth.• The director oversees planning and zoning, permitting, inspections, code enforcement, development review, and GIS operations while managing the department's budget, capital projects, grants, and community development initiatives.
