Description

Lakeland Electric seeks the services of an experienced and well-qualified HVAC service contractor to provide comprehensive HVAC maintenance and repair services at all Lakeland electric Power Generation facilities. The scope includes regularly scheduled preventive maintenance, and call-out basis corrective maintenance including emergency response, and ongoing performance monitoring to ensure optimal climate control, energy efficiency, and compliance with applicable safety and environmental standards. Contractors must demonstrate technical expertise in servicing a wide range of HVAC equipment and be capable of maintaining detailed service documentation. Contractors are expected to maintain responsiveness, professionalism, and a proactive approach to system health, contributing to the longevity and reliability of county assets. Non-emergency service requests should be initiated within 48 hours of notification, while emergency requests, such as hazardous conditions, must be acknowledged within 1 hour and responded to on-site within 4 hours . Vendors must demonstrate capacity to deliver timely, reliable, and cost-effective service THIS RFP SHALL RESULT IN A ONE (1) YEAR CONTRACT WITH AN OPTION FOR FOUR (4), ONE (1) YEAR RENEWALS UPON MUTUAL CONSENT. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP) which will be evaluated and awarded by a Committee assembled by OWNER
