(1) Vendor needs to provide GIS mapping drone and parachute system to the government authority located in Topeka, KS.1. Airframe & General Performance• Weight & Portability: Maximum Takeoff Weight (MTOW) must not exceed 5.5 lbs. (2.5 kg). The aircraft must feature a folding design.• Deployment Time: Must be deployable from a packed state to airborne in under 40 seconds.• Flight Time: Minimum of 40 minutes of maximum flight time per battery under standard conditions.2. GIS Mapping & Imaging Payloads• Camera Array (Sensors): Must feature a modular or integrated multi–sensor payload optimized for photogrammetry. This includes a primary wide–angle camera with a 1–inch sensor and at least 50 MP resolution, alongside a narrow/telephoto camera with at least 64 MP resolution.• Camera Array (Thermal– Optional): Recommended for utility inspections, a radiometric thermal camera with 640x512 resolution and thermal sensitivity of<30mK.• Mapping Software Integration: The system must natively support automated grid mapping flight plans and feature onboard rolling shutter correction to prevent mapping artifacts.3. Autonomy & Obstacle Avoidance• Sensors: True 360–degree, omnidirectional obstacle avoidance utilizing high–resolution visual navigation cameras with zero blind spots.• Processing: Onboard Al computing capable of real–time environmental mapping, subject tracking, and GPS–denied navigation4.
