Rental and Cleaning Service of Employee Uniforms, Mats and Shop Supplies

In general, the awarded Contractor will provide rental of employee uniforms, mats, and shop supplies for various City departments. The details for the rental services are included in the CONTRACTOR SCOPE OF SERVICE & PROJECT REQUIREMENTS of this bid document. Submitted prices per item are to include all charges for administration, supervision, labor, materials, uniforms, products, goods, shipping/handling/delivery/unloading, fuel, equipment, permits, licensing, and insurance necessary to meet the requirements as listed within this RFP. Prospective bidders must satisfy themselves by personal examination of the delivery locations and the proposed delivery schedule as to the correctness of any items requested in this RFP. Bidder shall not, after submission of bid, dispute or complain of such cost estimates, nor assert that there was any misunderstanding in regard to the nature or amount of work required to complete the services as required. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any or all items covered in the RFP, to waive informalities or defects in bids or to accept any bid as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City. All awards shall be contingent upon appropriation of the necessary funds and only after the receipt of a Purchase Order or Service Agreement. All bids are subject to the conditions shown herein. Questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted to the Purchasing Department using the Question-and-Answer section of the solicitation. The City of Pueblo, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (79 Stat. 252, 42 US.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for any award.
