Prequalification for Buildings 2M, 2T, 9A and 69 Roofing Project

'Project Description: This Roofing Project involves restoration and replacement of roofing systems on multiple campus buildings (including 2M, 2T, 9A, and 69), using either a reinforced fluid-applied waterproofing system or a 72-mil PVC feltback membrane system. Scope includes removal and replacement of flashings, coping, walk pads, and expansion joints; repair and preparation of existing substrates; installation of new adhered membranes; robotic hot-air welded seams; and compliance with ES-1 edge metal and California Title 24 energy requirements. The project requires manufacturer-certified systems (Sika/Sarnafil basis of design) with a 20-year full system warranty and contractor workmanship warranty. Work also includes cover board installation where required, parapet and metal edge detailing, drain improvements, equipment curb encapsulation, walkway pads, and strict quality control measures including pre-installation coordination, manufacturer inspections, and protection protocols to ensure long-term watertight performance.
