(1) Vendor needs to provide temporary exceptional children instructional assistants staffing service to the government authority located in Hendersonville, NC.– Provide dependable, highly qualified temporary EC instructional assistants (paraprofessionals).– These personnel will support low–incidence, intensive intervention (self–contained) classrooms across district elementary, middle, and high schools.– Contractor shall recruit, background–check, credential, employ, and place temporary exceptional children instructional assistants upon.– Essential duties or responsibilities:– Instructional and support: Implement goals under the direction of the EC teacher. assist with small group and one–on–one instruction using modified standard curricula.– Behavioural Interventions: Implement positive behaviour intervention plans using approved techniques. Maintain calm, patient, and firm management during crisis situations or escalating behaviours.– Personal care and hygiene: assist students with personal care needs, including diapering, toileting, feeding, tube feeding support, dressing, and hygiene.– Mobility and physical support: lift, position, and transfer students safely using proper techniques or adaptive equipment (wheelchairs, standers, gait trainers).– Classroom and safety supervision: maintain continuous visual and physical supervision of students in classroom, hallway, cafeteria, playground, bus loading or unloading zones, and during encores or recess.– Documentation and logs: assist in tracking daily student progress on goals, logging behaviour data, and documenting health or hygiene support as required by the district.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 19, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for one year.
