TRAFFIC CALMING: INTERSECTION MODIFICATIONS

The City of Hollywood is seeking qualified contractors to construct traffic-calming intersection improvements at multiple locations throughout the City. The project includes the installation of roundabouts, chicanes, curb extensions, pavement markings, signage, and other associated roadway improvements designed to enhance pedestrian safety, reduce vehicle speeds, and improve overall neighborhood traffic operations. The work will be performed within existing public rights-of-way in accordance with the approved construction plans and applicable City, Broward County, and FDOT standards. The City encourages proposals from experienced contractors with demonstrated expertise in roadway construction, maintenance of traffic, and the successful delivery of transportation improvement projects in urban environments. The selected contractor will be expected to coordinate closely with the City, utility providers, and other stakeholders to minimize impacts to residents and the traveling public while maintaining the project schedule.
